Black Girl Writers: Submission Package Workshop

I’m super late with this (it’s been an extremely busy week) but I’m excited to share I’ll be leading a submissions package workshop on Feb 2nd, 2022, through an organization called Black Girl Writers. This free workshop is open to all women writers of colour.

What is Black Girl Writers?

Started in 2020 by Abi Jackson, Black Girl Writers is a free mentoring programme for Black women who write. They pair Black women with the best in the industry, from bestselling authors to internationally renowned literary agents, and host online workshops throughout the year.

Inclusivity and equality for writers of all backgrounds is something I am very passionate about. Abi and Moyette (who volunteer their time alongside working, writing and family/life commitments) are wonderful people doing work that creates real change. I’m proud to play the tiniest role in helping them achieve their mission.
